I Love Creating a Space for People to Rest and Heal the Nervous System
As an acupuncturist and herbalist, I offer busy, working adults a unique space to find relief from pain, stress, and ailments that arise from a demanding, fast-paced lifestyle. I find fulfillment in giving people time and space to feel at ease and calm the nervous system.
I aim to give patients relief from symptoms and improve their well-being through regular treatments. I also strive to remind people that their body has an innate healing ability and they can thrive on their own.
I Believe That By Taking Care of Ourselves, We Heal Our Communities
My mission as an acupuncturist and herbalist is to curate a unique healing experience for each patient that is tailored to their individual needs, while also fostering a sense of community and belonging.
My goal is to help people reconnect with their inner strength and feel more embodied in order to show up fully in their life and pursue their purpose.
My Journey to Becoming an Acupuncturist
After undergrad, I knew I wanted to keep learning, but I wasn’t sure which path to take. Through my 20s, I worked desk jobs that left me feeling unfulfilled and unmotivated. I thought I was doing what I was “supposed” to do, but underneath I felt a lack of direction that eventually showed up as anxiety and insomnia. My body was trying to tell me something.
When I discovered acupuncture, everything began to shift. It helped me learn to self-regulate and reconnect with my body. I was finally sleeping well, and I felt motivated to make a change and carve my own path. I began taking classes part-time, eventually committing to studying Chinese medicine full-time and dedicating my career to helping others reconnect with their purpose.
My Educational Journey
I completed my undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Missouri – Columbia. I received my Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Colorado Chinese Medicine University in Denver, Colorado. I then completed my Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.
