My Journey to Becoming an Acupuncturist Started in South Korea
I received my training in acupuncture, earning my MSOM and DAcHM degree from in the United States. However, my journey into acupuncture began in South Korea, where I was inspired by the teachings of renowned professors such as Dr. Seil Jun, a professor of rehabilitation medicine and acupuncturist at Yonsei University, and the late Dr. Su-Kwan Hwang. These experiences ignited my passion for integrative medicine, leading me to pursue a career in acupuncture.
My Educational Journey
While I hold a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree, my passion for medicine began in Korea when I started working in the Clinical Pathology Department at the Yonsei University Hospital.
This started me on a path that eventually led me to discovering acupuncture and herbal medicine. I studied at both the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine for my master’s degree and went on to receive a doctorate from South Baylo University.
